The gin is a small batch artisan-crafted made in a “London Dry” style. Made with local botanicals grown on the property mainly lemons from old plantings and orange blossoms. Other botanicals were used such as juniper berries but these were not grown on the property. A recommended garnish to serve with the gin is the classic slice of lemon.

The Sorgiovanni family are early settlers who arrived in Australia in 1928 from Italy, developing citrus orchards in the Harvey area and were later the founders of Harvey Fresh. They reflected on the difficulties many explorers faced and pay homage to explorers such as Ferdinand Magellan. The Magellan Gin is crafted using citrus blossom, a combination of orange and lemon rind with botanicals. We are delighted to offer you this wonderful, smooth, citrus finish gin.
